Camp 10 2012 (Nov. 26 - Dec. 14) - Holiday Express Fitness

Camp 10 is UABC's designated focus on fitness camp only offered once/year. This is 3 weeks of take your fitness level (strength, cardiovascular, flexibility) to a whole new level! There is no pre-camp nutrition seminar, no weekly food log turn in or evaluations, and no pre-camp body fat testing for the Camp 10 - Holiday Express Fitness Camp.

***There is a one-time nutrition and body fat pre-evaluation seminar that is MANATORY for all first time campers who attend Camps 1-9 only (excludes camp 10 as these are not available for our once a year fitness only camp) which is held the Friday prior to the start of your camp from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  This seminar is essential for you to understand how you will be specifically required to eat during camp in order to maximize the loss of excess fat and/or to learn how to eat in order to rapidly recover from the boot camp exercises.  The body fat pre-evaluation testing will reveal your very specific and individual metabolism, lean muscle, excess body fat, your body mass index, and your cellular hydration levels so that we can determine your individual caloric needs for maximum results during your specific boot camp.  There is no make-up session for this event.  The nutrition component of the UABC program will determine 80-85% of your success in losing significant body fat.  Dinner will be provided.

 

*NOTE: The Army Corps of Engineers requires that each camper have a parking permit to enter Twelve Mile Recreation Park. (This is the standard permit good for all Army Corp parks, including boat launches). The cost of the permit is $4.00/day or $30 for an annual parking pass (per car; carpooling is permissible). If you don't already have one, there are 3 ways you may obtain your personal parking permit.

  1. By calling (888) 893-0678 and pay via credit card
  2. Go to Twelve Mile Recreation on a Saturday or Sunday and obtain one from the ranger at the entry booth
  3. Go to Twin Lakes Camp Ground between the hours of 8:00 am - 10:00 pm, 7 days/wk

*NOTE: South Cove Park also requires that each camper have a daily parking permit. (This is the standard permit good for all park locations including South Cove, High Falls Park, Chau Ram, and many more which includes the use of boat launches). The cost of the permit is $2.00/day or $25 for an annual parking pass (per car; carpooling is permissable). If you dont already have one, there are 2 ways you may obtain your personal parking permit.

  1. Pull up to entry booth, put $2.00 cash into the envelope, tear off rearview mirror pass for that day, or
  2. Go to the main office at South Cove Park and pay $25.00 for your annual pass
